Design Introduction for Linkage Assemblies
When first considering designing your linkage you must analyse the application, to determine the selection of the end fittings - Clevises, Ball Joints, Rod Ends etc. Will the linkage be affected by;

There are various materials used in the manufacture of the end components and the rods. The materials can then be finished by plating or hardening. Again your choice depends on the application and environment.
